Research Assistance(under Dr.G.H Qi), University of Washington, Seattle, USA (Oct 2023 - Present)
- Accelerate to fitting data with the help of GPU. Reduce the training time to get accurate estimates by parallel computing and distributed computing.
- Building a new model to study the gene expression by single-cell data.
Research Assistant(under Dr. Xiaojun Zhu), Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, Suzhou, China (Feb 2023 – Jun 2023).
- Built Cox PH model and improved the performance of the model by linear regression, used cross-validation, ROC curves, and time-AUC curves to perform model comparition and selection
- Used the model to predict survival time of patients with malignant neoplasm of liver from MIMIC III dataset

- Building a new automated medical code prediction system which could transform discharge summaries of the MIMIC III dataset into ICD-9 codes
